Thanks to everyone following our Blog on getting on to the front page of Google.
Many of you asked us for a "Live Demo" of what we can do, so we are doing it and Blogging our results ! ! !
We created a website called http://www.computer-repair-las-vegas-nv.com/ and have been working our magic on it. Our goal is to show everyone the progress of taking a new website that Google does not even know about, and transforming it into a website that appears on the front page of Google's Natural Progression section. (The section under Google Maps / Places), and then get listed on the front page of Google Maps / Places.
(Google "Computer Repair Las Vegas" and you'll see what I mean. The ones listed as A-G are in the Google Maps / Places section. Everything else below that is the Natural Progression section)
We started off with a very simple website design. There is no flash animation or anything fancy about it at all. Company name, address, phone #, Company logo and a few webpages that focus on our services. When the website went active, it wasn't even good enough to receive a PR ranking. (more on this later). Over the past few months we have been working our magic on it, and posting our results.
The journey has been quite fun and exciting. Here's what is happening as of today.
Our website was ranked at a PR4, but has been re-ranked to a PR3. This was expected and due to the "Passing of the PR juice" to some of the sub-pages. Here's what that means.
Websites and individual webpages are ranked by Google and given a PR score. PR ranking can range from PR0 - PR10, with PR10 being the best. Google bases this PR score on many things (but that's a different blog...) There are very few PR10 websites. Heck - Google is not even a PR10. It's currently a PR9. Think of the PR ranking as the popularity rating of a website based on the scale of 0 to 10.
Because all of the pages on our website were at PR1 - PR4. Over the past week or two the "PR juice" has been evenly distributed to most of the webpages. This happens naturally since all the pages are equally linked to each other. They share "PR Juice".
As of today, ALL our webpages are a PR3 - except one. We have been working on this and expect this single page to have a PR3 ranking any day now. When this is accomplished, we can expect our continuing efforts to pay off in the form of a PR4 (or higher) ranking for our main page.
When this happens, we expect to be the #1 listing on Google's Natural Progression section.
Shortly after that, we expect to be one of the seven companies listed in the Google Maps / Places section.
Once listed in the Google Mpas / Places section, we will continue our efforts till we are #1 in BOTH sections. We can do it - We have done it before - We will do it again ! ! !
