On it's way to the Front Page of Google
June 6, 2012 at 8:30amWe have a new client down in beautiful San Diego, CA who has created a wonderful website that he wants us to get on to the front page of Google for certain keywords / search phrases. So that's our starting point:
1. Have website created by customer - They did a good job too! This will help.
2. Get his business listing on the front page of Google Maps / Google Places using his website.
I hope you will follow along with us as we work our SEO guerilla magic on http://www.stopsmokingwithhypnosisnow.com/ as we take it from a brand new website that Google is not even aware of, or has indexed, all the way to the front page of Google for our customer's desired keywords / search phrases. I'm sure the owner of http://www.stopsmokingwithhypnosisnow.com/ will be following the blog and the website's ranking. Why not everybody else?
This will be an easy way for everybody to see each step we do and how each effects the website's ranking.
First thing we do is get this blog indexed and start feeding it some PR juice from good quality backlinks. I'll get that started and be back.

It's been a few days since my last posting. We have been working our magic by running two ad campaigns on http://www.stopsmokingwithhypnosisnow.com/ focusing on the keywords above. We are already seeing this website on the front page of Google for several of the phrases above. Will give a more detailed report on search phrase ranking in my next update.

OK - Let's see if we are rank today. (that did not come out right).
Most companies quote 4 to 8 weeks for front page ranking.
We hope to do it faster than that on a regular basis.
And the phrases below ARE NOT EASY.
It's been EXACTLY 7 DAYS SINCE WE STARTED this project.

In only 7 days we have 8 search phrases on the front page of Google!
From here we will be further solidifying the front page placement for all the categories above. and will continue the ad compaign on Hypnotherapy Service San Diego and Hypnosis San Diego so they stay on the front page. I have something special in mind for them both......
My only worry is customer perception.
Must be explained to customer that we could take our time like the reest of the other companies out there but why? I understand building in a buffer. We need it some times. Just explain to the customer in detail this process costs $400 to create your listing, get your website submitted and indexed with over 60 major search engines, modify/improve your website as needed, blog, Tweet, and do all our other magic to get each customer on the front page of Google.
There is a lot of work done from the time a customer hands us a check for $800 and say "Go". ($400 for Front page placement + $400 for first month) Many customers think you submit your information to Google Places and because yours is the best business (of course) it should magically zip up to the #1 position automatically. I WISH ! ! !
